The International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD) initiative has been coordinated by the International Union of Railways (UIC) since 2009, with the support of the global community of railways (CERs, EIM) and organizations such as the Council of the European Transport Safety ( ETSC), the Operation Lifesaver and other road safety organizations to make road users aware of the risks of crossing railway tracks. RSI "Panos Mylonas" has been participating in the International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD) since 2009.
