BRAAVO presented as a good practice from RSI “Panos Mylonas” at the KROS ‘Knights for Road Safety’ Staff Training Activity in Athens.

The project Promoting Traffic Safety Culture in Youth, and the training module “BRAAVO” were presented as a good practice during training event for the joint staff of the Erasmus + project ‘Knights for Road Safety” (KROS) in Athens at 04.07 2019.
The aim of the KROS project is to bring a change on how road safety programs and initiatives are implemented in schools across Europe, by strengthening the profiles of the teaching profession on road safety issues. In this framework a strategic partnership of Road Safety Experts, Pedagogues and Curriculum Developers, Local Authorities, Advanced Educational Applications Developers and Schools are joining forces to design, develop and validate an innovative professional development program for teachers. A number of workshops and presentations on road safety issues took place during the 3 day training event.
BRAAVO was presented as an educational good practice for promoting a more positive traffic safety culture in youth, by changing the attitudes and behaviours of adolescent road users on a number of road safety issues such as speeding, drink-driving, distraction, seatbelt and helmet use.
The training event was organized by RSI ‘Panos Mylonas’ and was hosted at Ellinogermaniki Agogi School, in Pallini, Attica. At the event participated the Motor Transport Institute (Poland), CECE (Spanish Confederation of Education & Training Centers), BundesGymnasium und BundesRealGymnasium Schwechat
