When students create for road safety, PanHellenic Student Contest of Digital Creativity (NL #69)
R.S.I. “Panos Mylonas” and Learning Television of Dept. of Education are organizing a PanHellenic Student Contest of Digital Creativity dedicated on road safety. Primary school students are asked to use their imagination and send the message “On the road with caution”, whereas Secondary school students will express their creativity on “Road safety: everyone’s right”.
The purpose of the contest is to raise awareness to young people on road safety, involve them through digital creativity so as to promote the importance of traffic education and traffic rules. The contest aims at educating young students to fundamental traffic rules as they are pedestrians, bikers or passengers. Concerning the teenagers, the aim is to highlight that they have rights but also responsibilities, as all citizens do, to comply with rules in order to move with safety and how to avoid hazardous traffic accidents.
The formal announcement of the contest was made at the award ceremony to distinguished students and teachers of PanHellenic Student Contest at the anniversary of 40years Learning Television. At the ceremony Mrs. Vassiliki Danelli- Mylonas presented the traffic educational book “Be a road safety knight” and R.S.I. 2018 dairy.
Contest deadline is April the 15th 2018.
