`With great success and massive participation from young and older people, the campaign of 11th PanHellenic Road Safety Week was completed. The campaign was implemented by R.S.I.”Panos Mylonas” in collaboration with Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers, the support of HELLASTRON and of Coalition for Safety and Culture on Road.

The Conference on the European Road Safety Charter (ERSC) was held with great success on Wednesday the 21th March at the Amphitheater of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport: The event was organized by the Road Safety Institute (RSI) "Panos Mylonas", ERSC’s Representative in Greece, and held under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

More than 8,000 children aged 0-14 years have been killed in road traffic collisions over the last ten years in the European Union, new data show. Half of the children killed were travelling in cars, a third were walking and 13% were cycling, according to a report published today by the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC).

A double folded Pan-Hellenic Student Contest of Digital Creation, devoted to Road Safety, is being organized by the Educational Radio-Television of the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs and the Road Safety Institute (R.S.I.) “Panos Mylonas”. Tuesday 11th April 2017 was a bright day for Greece’s road safety and infrastructure. The 120 kilometres long Corinth-Patras section of the Olympia National Road was inaugurated by the Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, making the trip from the city of Patras to the capital Athens just an hour and a half journey.
