Awards-Features

• 2011 European Citizen Award by the European Parliament for the work and actions of the Institute at European level.

• 2007 Award by the Minister of Transportation of Sweden, a globally top country concerning road safety issues, for its proposals to the ETSC which led to the release of the ISO 39001 standard for Road Safety Management.

• 2014 Honorary Distinction by the University of Patras for its 50 years of operation at the RSI “Panos Mylonas” for its annual scholarship in memory of Panos Mylonas and its work in promoting road safety among students in general.

• 2011 Distinction by the Women’s Rights Federation by title “Award for Women’s Social Contribution Giotopoulou-Markopoulou”.

• 2009 Distinction by the Insurance Companies Union with the Award for Prolepsis.

• Last but not least, the Institute has been awarded by the Greek Armed Forces and many other institutions in Greece and abroad.
