The RSI places particular emphasis on marking dangerous spots on the road network and no the restoration of problems, aiming to implement projects with international standards that can be used as a "pilot" for implementing interventions on a large scale by the State. The Institute also takes on projects and actions with its own funding, amongst which are the following:

 

- Contributing at the improvement of road infrastructure works, providing with studies and autopsies in many dangerous routes as those of Korinthοs – Patras, Messapion Evoias, Attica, Crete and others.

- Cooperation with Greek and European institutions for the evaluation of the national road network in accordance with international protocols (EuroRAP).

- Donating speed control equipment and breathalyzer tests in Traffic.
