The program
The program is aimed at strengthening the structure and development of RSI "Panos Mylonas" skills in order to better functioning and reinforcement of its social contribution.
It aims to improve the functioning and strengthening of the Institute's capacity to become more efficient and better able to achieve greater social benefits, viability and its objectives in the long term.
The ultimate aim of strengthening RSI it’s to provide improved services to the community in this very critical issue of road safety and the prevention of road accidents.
The structure
The strengthening of the program structure is carried out through four actions of RSI "Panos Mylonas":
(A) development of a strategic plan, which records the current state of the structure, identify needs and prioritize actions that will ι οποίες θα συμβάλλουν τόσο στην κάλυψη αυτών των αναγκών όσο και στην εν γένει βελτίωση της δομής for the next five years,
(B) training the staff of the Institute with subjects related to the viability and effectiveness of this operation,
(C) the development of distance learning platform (e-learning) of volunteers
(D) upgrading of the online presence of RSI
The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the Program«"We are all citizens"», which is part of the overall EEA Financial Mechanism for Greece, known as the EEA Grants. Grant administrator of the Program is Bodossaki Foundation. The objective of the Program is to strengthen civil society in our country and the reinforcement of social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
About the EEA Financial Mechanism:
The European Economic Area (EEA) unites the EU Member States and the three countries of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway in the Single Market. The European Financial Mechanism EEA was established in 1994 in order to reduce economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthening bilateral relations between beneficiary states and the donor states. For the period 2009 - 2014, the EEA Financial Mechanism has funds totaling € 1,79 with Norway to contribute 97% of the total. Donations involving NGOs, research and academic institutions, public and private sector in the 12 most recent countries of the EU, in Greece, Portugal and Spain. The cooperation with EEA countries bodies is widespread and related activities have be implemented through to 2016. Basic areas of support is the environment and climate change, research and scholarships, civil society, health, gender equality, justice and cultural heritage. See more at http://eeagrants.org/
About Bodosaki Foundation:
Bodosaki Foundation is one of the largest private charitable organizations in Greece. Established in 1973 by the Prodromo Bodosaki - Athanasiadis, who decided to available his property for the support and promotion of education, health, and environmental protection. We started with an excellent of every point of view a three day period seminar participation RSI Program "We are all citizens" within the Empowerment of Competence (Capacity Building Structure and Development) of our Institute with the aim of more efficient operation and the strengthening of its social contribution.
The seminar have as subject to locating funding source and writing proposals / funding applications attended by executives and zealous volunteers of the Institute.

The second part of the series of seminars under the program "We are all citizens" for the Strengthening of Capabilities Structure and Development (Capacity Building) of our Institute with theme «Project Management» held in our Institute premises on 13,16 & 17 July .
The seminar with executives of RSI followed with much interest and the President Ms Vassiliki Danellis-Milonas.

T he Training of staff RSI "Panos Mylonas" in the context of empowerment of Structure and Development of Abilities of our Institute continued with the theme« "Lobbying and advocacy"» in 4,5, and August 6 at the offices of our Institute. Executives of RSI watched with great interest the excellent suggestion of Ms Vlachaki Peace which I thank for the excellent cooperation.
On the last day of the seminar the human resources of our Institute participated in practical training on the topic of the seminar.

«Knowledge Management Systems»
The fourth section completed the series of seminars under the program "We are all citizens" for the Strengthening of Capabilities Structure and Development (Capacity Building) of our Institute's theme: "Knowledge Management Systems» (Knowledge Management Systems) was completed. The seminar was conducted in our Institute facilities on 3 and 4 September.
