Press Conference for the publication of the Guide to Road Safety

We invite you to the Press Conference on Easter Tuesay 18 April 2006 at 11.30-12.30 in the theatre of the Ministry of Transport and Communication (Anastaseos 2 & Tsignate, Papagou Postal code 101 91 – metro station Ethiniki Amina) for a briefing concerning the publication of the GUIDE TO ROAD SAFETY.

 

The event is held under the auspices of the Min. of Transport with the support of the Minister of Transport and Communication Michalis Liapis and aims to inform and prevent traffic accidents in Greece in view of the imminent exodus of Greek drivers and families during this year’s Easter celebrations.

 

INFOTE is sponsoring the publication GUIDE TO ROAD SAFETY, 400,000 copies of which have been printed and will be distributed on Easter Wednesday and Thursday at the toll gates of Elevsina, Afidnes, Malgara & Patras and at the ports of Pireas and Rafina.

 

The GUIDE TO ROAD SAFETY is the result of the collaboration and contribution of institutions and Organizations from the Private and Public Sectors, the Media and Supporters of the Institute of Road Safety (IOAS) Panos Mylonas and experts in road safety and education. The publication of the Guide is part of the efforts of the Institute, whose aim is to inform about road safety, a subject that concerns us all and requires a serious, rational and careful approach so as to avoid the tragic consequences of traffic accidents. 

 

On the occasion of the publication of the GUIDE TO ROAD SAFETY then and shortly before the Easter exodus, we invite you to join forces with us and speak out together in this effort to rid Greece of its lamentable record of traffic accidents.
