A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Scouts of Greece and RSI on road safety issues on Monday 10^th of June 2019.
The memorandum has five years period of cooperation between Scouts of Greece and RSI. It involves:

• Implementation of educational programs and actions on road safety.
• Implementation of jointed actions and events on awareness, mobility and volunteerism on national and international level.
• Design and production of informative material.
• Joint participation in funded programs.

The memorandum was signed by the President of Soma Hellinon Proskopon Mr. Isidoros Kanetis and the President of BoD RSI Mrs. Vassiliki Danelli-Mylona, in presence of Mr. Christoforos Mitromara.
The President of Soma Hellinon Proskopon, Mr. Isidoros Kanetis said: “We are very happy to renew the memorandum of cooperation with RSI, a non-governmental organization that aims at promoting traffic education, increasing citizens’ and competent bodies ‘awareness on road safety issues. Our joint forces, among others, prepare all members of Scout movement, in Greece and internationally, to adopt road safety culture making our world better than it was.”
RSI’ President Mrs. Danelli-Mylona emphasized: “The cooperation between Scouts of Greece and RSI is an inspirational model internationally. Especially at the 24^th World Scout Meeting, Jamboree, in Virginia of US this July, thousands of young scouts from 170 countries will have the opportunity to attend road safety experiential educational programs implemented by members of Scouts of Greece team with kind support of Federal Internationale d’ Automobile (FIA). Through this event and our initiative “Scouting for Global Road Safety” approved by United Nations for global action, we will essentially contribute to a greater volunteer organization for young people to  joint forces for a common purpose of a better world without road accidents.”
