INVITATION TO THE DEBATE, 25th NOVEMBER 2009
INVITATION TO THE DEBATE, 25th NOVEMBER 2009

In 2007 ETSC started, in a partnership with Diageo, the Drink Driving Policy Network programme which aims to contribute to reducing alcohol-related road deaths and injuries through the identification and promotion of best practice in both policy and advocacy. This focus is aligned with the EU Alcohol Strategy to reduce injuries and deaths from alcohol-related road traffic accidents. In the framework of this programme, ETSC and Road Safety Institute Panos Mylonas (IOAS) are jointly organising this national event aiming at bringing together “drink driving stakeholders” and road safety experts in Greece. On the agenda will be measures to tackle drink driving such as extent of Police enforcement, the BAC limit and targeting novice drivers and recidivists.
