In the context of the “Scouting for Global Road Safety”, significant initiative that has been established by Road Safety Institute (RSI) “Panos Mylonas” and became a Global Action under the auspices of United Nations, RSI is heading to the United States with the support of FIA in order to participate at the «24th World Scout Jamboree, North America 2019» (WSJ), as a partner of World Organization of Scout Movement (WOSM). The event starts on July, 22nd and ends on August 2nd at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, U.S.A.

On the 30th of June 2019, from 11 am to 5pm, at Syntagma Metro station, in cooperation with Blood Donation Service of Korgialenio-Benakio General Hospital and kind support of OASA (Athens Urban Transport Organization) and STASY S.A. (Urban Rail Transport), Road Safety Institute (RSI) “Panos Mylonas” held a successful voluntary blood donation day for RSI’s blood bank for road casualties.

Conference speakers presented strategy and data on road safety, priorities, programs financing, new technologies & cars new features, training programs and best practices shared between EU countries that will enable to increase Road Safety level between parties involved and meet the EU 2030 target of reducing road deaths and serious injuries by 50%.
